Capture information in the order the work happens. Promote it without losing the original source.
Capture engagement evidence, shape clear findings and recommendations, issue a branded client report, then move through proposal, signed contract, portal delivery, and payment in one focused workspace.
The consulting assessment and engagement workbench for independent consultants and small practices.
Turn interview notes, site photos, and assessment evidence into clear findings, recommendations, and branded client reports.
Project Praxis keeps the reasoning connected, with proposals, contracts, client delivery, and payments available when your engagement needs them.
Consulting evidence arrives through interviews, questionnaires, notes, photos, voice memos, files, links, and professional judgment. The client still needs one clear narrative and a clean way to approve what comes next.
Capture information in the order the work happens. Promote it without losing the original source.
Connect exhibits, findings, recommendations, and citations so the logic survives the handoff.
Preview the draft, then Issue a versioned client PDF with an integrity hash.
The Engagement is the spine of Praxis. Start with a proposal or begin the work directly, then keep the client, evidence, commercial documents, report, and delivery history connected.
Create the client record with people, organizations, roles, tags, and signing preferences.
Define scope, assumptions, and fees. Issue a versioned PDF and collect a typed or drawn signature through Praxis-native e-sign.
Attach the accepted proposal or begin without one. The Engagement remains the body of work for assessments, contracts, reports, invoices, and portal access.
Capture in any order, promote source material into Evidence, Findings, and Recommendations, and preserve citations.
Produce a branded report, then freeze the client version with its revision, file hash, and issue history.
After the contract is signed, clients can access Documents, Reports, Requests, and Payments without consuming consultant seats.
Create the client and engagement. Start with a published Model or your practice’s lighter workflow.
Add notes, photos, voice, files, links, and structured answers from desktop or phone browser.
Use +E, +F, and +R to create Evidence, Findings, and Recommendations while preserving sources.
Use Library patterns, cited Reference passages, and optional drafts grounded in selected material.
Download a draft or Issue an immutable, versioned client PDF with numbered citations.
Create the proposal, collect signatures, invoice the client, and deliver through the portal.
Praxis treats the pieces of an assessment as connected professional work, not loose blocks in a document.
Reusable structures, guidance, and questions for a type of engagement. Publish a new version without silently rewriting previous client work.
Reusable finding, recommendation, and commercial patterns. Insert a snapshot, then tailor it without changing past engagements.
Collections, documents, and real passages. Freeze the quoted text when cited and number each source once in the final report.
Move from capture to Evidence, Findings, and Recommendations without losing source material or inventing missing evidence.
Begin with IT Assessment, Cyber Readiness, Speaking Readout, or Fractional Monthly Models, Library patterns, and Reference material. They are starting points, not certifications.
Use the browser workbench on laptop or phone, including supported camera and microphone capture. Turn field material into a paper-first report with letterhead, contents, executive summary, numbered findings, recommendations, exhibits, and citations.
Current boundary: A standalone offline iOS companion is planned for later. The current browser workbench is not offline-first.
AI is off by default. Connect your own Gemini, OpenAI, or Claude key and choose the material a draft may use. You must Accept or Dismiss the result. The complete product works with AI turned off.
Praxis carries the engagement from commercial approval through secure client delivery and payment. These are connected product pillars, not disconnected exports or late-stage add-ons.
Create proposals and engagement contracts, Issue versioned PDFs, and collect typed or drawn signatures through the Praxis-native e-sign flow. A proposal may create or attach to an Engagement, but an Engagement does not require a proposal.
A signed engagement contract unlocks login-gated client access. The portal brings together issued or signed proposal, contract, and invoice PDFs; issued reports; deliverable acceptance; and client Requests for evidence, captures, or references.
Create invoices and payment requests at any point in the Engagement. Clients can review open and paid requests in the portal and pay through your practice’s Stripe connection. Praxis does not act as merchant of record for your consulting fees.
Need an accounting handoff? Export invoice data to CSV. Praxis does not replace your accounting ledger or provide live QuickBooks or Xero synchronization.
Assessments, infrastructure reviews, cloud readiness, roadmaps, and fractional CIO work.
Readiness reviews, control assessments, risk findings, remediation recommendations, and cited guidance.
Site surveys and infrastructure or physical-security walkthroughs with phone capture.
Shared Models, Library patterns, Reference material, roles, review, and letterhead across 2 to 10 seats.
Discovery interviews, audience themes, workshop observations, readouts, and follow-on programs.
Ongoing capture, periodic summaries, recommendations, and scoped changes within retainer engagements.
Praxis separates practice work from client access and keeps AI optional.
A report hash verifies that a file matches what Praxis issued. It does not prove truth or authorship, establish legal chain of custody, or certify compliance.
| Alternative | They Win When You Need | Praxis Is Different Because |
|---|---|---|
| Docs, Notes, Notion, Drive | Familiar, flexible writing with almost no setup | Evidence, findings, recommendations, citations, issued reports, and commercial documents remain connected |
| HoneyBook-Class Tools | Lead capture, scheduling, email automation, contracts, invoices, and payments drive the business | Assessment substance and report craft are first-class; Praxis is not a booking or marketing CRM |
| PSA and Agency Suites | Projects, time, utilization, budgets, resources, and profitability are essential | Praxis stays focused on evidence, findings, recommendations, and client-ready reports |
| Enterprise GRC | Continuous controls, governance, audit programs, and enterprise integrations are required | Praxis offers lighter methodology and reporting for independent consultants and small practices |
| Field Inspection Apps | Offline-first mobile checklists and repeatable inspections are central | Praxis turns field capture into a consulting narrative and recommended work |
| E-Sign Platforms | Polished sales documents and signatures are the whole workflow | Signature sits on top of the connected engagement and assessment record |
| Generic AI Chat | Fast general drafting matters more than structured client work | AI is optional, practice-controlled, selected-source grounded, and accept-required |
| Job to Be Done | Praxis | Docs | Client-Flow | PSA | GRC | Field App |

No. Praxis stores clients, contacts, and engagements because the work requires them, but it is not a marketing CRM, booking system, or general client-flow OS.
No. It can support cyber, risk, and compliance consulting, but it does not continuously monitor enterprise controls or certify compliance.
No. The complete product works with AI turned off. When enabled, Practice AI uses your supported provider key, drafts only from selected material, and requires acceptance.
Yes, through supported phone browsers, including camera and microphone capture. A standalone offline iOS companion is planned for later.
Yes. Proposals and engagement contracts use Praxis-native e-sign. A signed contract unlocks login-gated client access to available Documents, Reports, Requests, and Payments. Client users do not consume consultant seats.
Clients can download issued or signed proposal, contract, and invoice PDFs; retrieve issued reports; complete deliverable acceptance; fulfill engagement Requests; and review open or paid payment requests.
Your practice connects its own Stripe credentials. Client funds follow that practice-controlled payment path; Praxis is not the merchant of record and does not take a percentage of the consulting payment.
It verifies that a file matches the version Praxis issued. It does not prove the report’s conclusions, establish authorship, create legal chain of custody, or certify compliance.
Praxis is not a full PSA. Full time tracking, utilization, payroll, resource planning, and deep project accounting are intentionally outside its scope.
Keep the source, the reasoning, the deliverable, and the next step connected.
